In the automotive sector, trinamiX works closely with partner AUMOVIO, an independant spin-off of Continental AG. The jointly developed “Invisible Biometrics Sensing Display” was recognized as CES Innovation Award Honoree 2025 and shows all our innovations in one demonstrator.

The display tracks the vital signs and biometrics of occupants using a camera and a laser projector installed behind the dashboard display to support a wide range of safety and comfort functions. Additionally, it creates a 3D depth map for optimized airbag deployment decisions and reliably detects whether the seat belt is fastened.

trinamiX Face Authentication can be seamlessly integrated into the vehicle’s exterior, including the b-pillar, offering authorized users a convenient, keyless entry solution. Our advanced liveness detection technology ensures robust protection against unauthorized access and theft.

trinamiX Face Authentication provides maximum security during novel in-car applications like digital payment. During the authentication, our unique liveness detection protects drivers against fraud. The technology is typically integrated into a driver display in the instrument cluster and can even be hidden behind the OLED panel.

The innovative trinamiX technology introduces additional safety features, including 3D distance mapping to optimize airbag deployment and restraint devices, as well as verifying the proper fastening of seat belts.
