trinamiX adds a new dimension of reliability to object- and user-recognition on low system complexity by extracting 3 data streams from 1 system: a 2D image, a 3D depth map and a unique material classification capability. The analysis is done with proprietary algorithms that run on a multitude of different platforms, such as the CPU or GPU of a PC or the DSP of an embedded compute unit. As a result, trinamiX has created a unique way to sense the world through a single camera.
The trinamiX proprietary technology in our sensors combines 2D IR imaging, 3D depth information and material classification in a low complexity system setup consisting of an IR imaging camera and a light projector.
