IFA Berlin 2024: trinamiX showcases secure Face Authentication for premium foldable screens jointly with TCL CSOT

trinamiX GmbH, a leading biometric solutions provider, will present its secure Face Authentication for invisible integration into premium foldable smartphone screens in collaboration with TCL CSOT at IFA Berlin 2024 (TCL Booth H21-101). The solution is suitable for LTPO OLED displays and offers enhanced security and convenience while maintaining display quality.

Foldable smartphones are on the rise as well as convenient and secure authentication methods. Thus, smartphone OEMs around the world are requesting secure Face Authentication behind premium foldable screens such as LTPO OLEDs. The “7.85’ Under Screen Face Authentication Display” developed jointly with TCL CSOT incorporates trinamiX's patented Face Authentication technology behind OLED, which differentiates between human skin and other materials for reliable liveness checks. The invisible integration technology behind display, which is developed by TCL CSOT, eliminates the need for punch holes or notches, enabling users to fully utilize the expansive screens of foldable phones and creating an engrossing visual experience.

The touchless solution offers enhanced security and convenience, meeting the biometric security requirements set by organizations such as the International Internet Finance Authentication Alliance (IIFAA), the FIDO Alliance, and Android (Google). It has been approved for Android integration and high-security applications, including digital payment processes.
